Senior Administrative Team Lead
Nations Translation Group is a 24/7 Ottawa-based translation firm looking to hire a full‑time bilingual senior administrative team lead. We are seeking a proven multi-tasker with superior problem-solving skills, excellent judgment and analytical thinking, the ability to focus on quality and details while exhibiting adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and constantly changing high‑stress environment. The ideal candidate must be able to constantly reprioritize and triage, while demonstrating time management, self-direction and superior initiative. High level communication skills and a strong understanding of team dynamics are essential elements of this position.
Reporting to the Vice-President of Operations, the Senior Administrative Team Lead is an integral part of our Control Centre team. They will be responsible for overseeing workflow from our valued clients throughout the translation process from pre-translation, assignment, translation, revision and delivery phases of the NTG process. In this fast-paced environment, this Senior Administrative Team Lead will interact directly with clients as well as the NTG translators and staff. Day-to-day tasks will involve triage of documents, requests and follow-up, including necessary analysis, problem-solving and quality assurance. The Senior Administrative Team Lead will play an integral role in advising and determine the needs of the clients and how NTG will be responsive to those needs.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum five (5) years cumulative experience performing similar duties in an office environment, at a management or team lead level.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience performing data entry, manipulation, verification or retrieval in an automated system or software, including spreadsheets and databases.

EDUCATION: Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Availability for 10-hour work days, total of 50 hours per week before overtime, willingness and ability to work overtime as required including evenings, nights and weekends*.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual Imperative (English/French)
SECURITY: Secret Clearance preferred, Reliability Clearance essential and can be upgraded upon hiring.
